I collect models as a surrogate for collecting the real thing. Owning even one real clasic car requires a large committment of time and money. The costs do not end with the acquisition. Repair or restoration costs, running costs and insurance (whether you run the vehicle or not) make owning even a modest collector car an unattainable proposition for most of us.

It is possible, however, to own models of more cars than even a wealthy collector could amass. Also, it is possible to acquire models of cars that are otherwise totally unobtainable, due to rarity or some other reason. Considering this, I have made a quick list of some cars I'd like to see turned into models.

Let me know if you have any cars in mind that you would like to see made into models.
