Not quite as disappointing as Guiloy's 1937 BMW. The engine is superb. The dash is better than the BMW. The doors are still sloppy on their cantilever swing arms. The front grille is a little unconvincing. Trunk has spare tire.
One other point: Delahayes of this era were usually custom bodied. I have seen pictures of the most incredible Delahayes bodied by Saoutchik, Henri Chapron, Joseph Figoni and other coach builders. As amazing as this model looks, I wonder why Guiloy didn't choose a more spectacular, more chrome-laden, version to do. I know that there are licensing issues, but still...
